Step back into the Romantic era

On March 6 & 7, our dancers reprise the legendary Pas de Quatre, the iconic 1845 ballet choreographed by Jules Perrot. The ballet was originally created for four of the world’s greatest ballerinas of the time, Marie Taglioni, Carlotta Grisi, Fanny Cerrito, and Lucile Grahn who are shown in the lithograph on the second slide.

Nearly 180 years later, NWA Ballet Theatre is excited to channel the demure elegance, grace, and charm the ballet is known for.
