Lindsey Strok

grew up in Springfield, Missouri and began dancing at the age of nine. Shortly after entering the dance world she was cast as Claire in the Radio City Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular, performing her role for consecutive seasons. During her high school years, she was the principal dancer in the Miss Missouri Pageant and Messiah Project’s European Tour and Tour of the Orient.

Following graduation, she moved to New York to study modern, jazz, and ballet at Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre. In 2005 she moved back to Springfield, Missouri where, for five years, she led, directed, and choreographed dance for the James River School of Fine Arts and Dance Ministry team at the nine thousand member church she attended. While in Springfield, she was also invited multiple times to serve as an evaluator at various national dance competitions across the United States. Lindsey is starting her fourth year with NWA Ballet Theatre. She has been a soloist in many of the productions including The Nutcracker (Snow Queen, Arabian Lead), The Sleeping Beauty (Red Fairy), and one of her own choreographic masterpieces, Destined to Fly.

Creating beautiful performances that will thrill audiences is every dancers dream. It takes them many years of training, long hours in rehearsals, and a lot of pointe shoes and performance wear.

NWA Ballet Theatre invites you to help keep our dancers on their toes by taking part in our Adopt-a-Dancer program.

All you have to do is choose a dancer (or type in “most in need”) and your donation will go directly to assisting their various performance needs.
